Unfortunately, you'll find even more Forsworn inside the ruins, before coming to your first puzzle.
You'll have to kill all the Forsworn and the sole Hagraven in the area before you can proceed, and keep in mind that a Dragon can sometimes spawn in Karthspire Camp, only increasing the level of chaos in the vicinity.Įither way, you'll have to kill off everyone with the help of Delphine and Esbern, before heading inside the caverns. You can either travel with Delphine or Esbern, or meet them just outside of Karthspire Camp, but either way you'll have to group up with them to take out all the bandits in the camp area. At this point, Delphine and Esbern will instruct the player to journey to Sky Haven Temple, which is also a part of Karthspire Camp. Head inside the Sleeping Giant Inn with him, and you'll meet up with Delphine in the secret hideout through the back left door of the inn. To kick off the Alduin's Wall quest, you should journey to the quiet town of Riverwood that you first arrived at near the very beginning of Skyrim, and meet Esbern there.

After some trial and error (and sending lots of bad karma towards Bethesda), I've found a PS3 workaround. Rather than quit yet another Bethesda game due to a bug, I hoped for the best and did some testing. When I later went to do the second part (blood seal), Esbern and Delphine hightailed it back to puzzle #1, and just sat there. Like many others I explored early on, and opened up the first puzzle many, many hours ago. Please tell me there's a way to fix this. I don't have a save that goes that far back. I can't go back to before I explored Karthspire the first time because that was a looooooong time ago. And they're still just waiting by the bridge. I've tried fast-traveling from there, leaving Karthspire altogether and fast-traveling back, entering/exiting the temple.everything. BUT they still have their torches lit and Esbern still says his same line. THEN they run back to the start (the bridge puzzle) and wait there. The problem is.after I do the Blood Seal, Esbern and Delphine light their torches and say "You should be the first to go in." and Esbern says "I can't wait to see what's inside." I was able to do the Blood Seal and open the door to get to the temple with Alduin's Wall in it. I decided to beat the game and lo and behold I'm back there. Since I couldn't continue past that part (I didn't know it was storyline related), I left and did other parts of the game. Hours ago I stumbled upon Karthspire and thoroughly explored it, solving the puzzles to get to the Blood Seal area. Ok, so I've read about the problem and the ways others solved it, but those were for 360 and PC.
